| Location: | All clinics are held in conjunction with the Wednesday Night Park Series, and will be held at the same locations. This will allow parents or
guardians to participate in the park event while the clinic is in progress. The Park Series is held a different GTA park every week.
Check the Park Series schedule for locations by date.
The bootcamp will wrap up with a graduation race at the Summer Orienteering
and BBQ event on June 26th at Erindale Park. |

Apr 7th at Serena Gundy / Sunnybrook Park
Apr 21st at G Ross Lord Park
May 5th at Earl Bales Park
May 12th at Morningside Park
June 2nd at Earl Bales Park
|
| Format: | Each session will target a form or discipline of orienteering such as trail or contour orienteering. The session will start with an introductory
on the target subject of that session followed by 2 or 3 training exercises that will reinforce what the
participants have learned.
The participants will then be given time to practice on the course for the park event for that Wednesday. |
| What to wear: | Regular running or comfortable walking shoes. Long pants are recommended but not required. |
| Compass: | Bring your own compass, if you have one. It is best for the participants to become familiar with the compass they would use in a competition.
Some compasses will be available to rent ($1) at the camp session. |
