You are all invited to our annual Summer Orienteering and BBQ event on Saturday June 26th, 2010 at Erindale Park in Mississauga.
The Toronto Orienteering Club Championships will also be awarded at this event. The event will feature 3 course lengths (short, medium and long).
Located along the Credit River, Erindale is the jewel of the Mississauga Parks system and features a nice trail network over a variety of terrain with open areas,
forest and a surprising amount of climb. Igor Palagnyuk is the course setter and will take you to the four corners of the park as well as the nature trail on the
University of Toronto Mississauga campus side of the river.
Right after the event you can relax at our annual barbecue. We will provide the main course, you just need to bring your drinks and a salad or desert that
can be shared. We will have our awards and draw prizes during the barbecue.
Last year we invited you to bring a family member or friend to our summer event for free and we are extending the invitation again this year!
So bring along someone (a newbie) to run with you and show them what you have been doing out in the woods!
The only conditions are: you have to be an OOA club member (TOC, GHO, GGO, STARS, UKR, CN or OOC),
the newbie can't be, and there is a limit of 1 newbie per member. Newbies will be required to sign a waiver, of course, but we'll also give them a map so they can
run with you and follow your brilliant course tactics.
If you are interested in bringing someone, just send us an email at
info@toronto-orienteering.com after you have registered and we will reserve a map for them.
Remember entry in the Summer Orienteering and BBQ event is included with your 2010 TOC full membership!

Please Note: SportIdent electronic timing will be used at this event. Your entry fee includes the use of a SportIdent electronic timing card (SI card).
If you have your own SI card, please provide the number when registering and you will save $5 per day on your entry fee!
SI cards are available for purchase for $40 incl tax, please indicate on the registration form if you are interested in purchasing one

| Directions: | The entrance to Erindale Park is located on Dundas Street West, east of Mississauga Road. The meeting place is group picnic area C.
From the QEW: Take the Erin mills Parkway exit north to Dundas Street West. Turn right on Dundas Street West and travel east past Mississauga Road.
The Erindale Park entrance will be the first road on the north side, just past the bridge over the river.
From the 403: Take the Erin mills Parkway exit south to Dundas Street West. Turn left on Dundas Street West and travel east past Mississauga Road.
