This is an OFSAA Sanctioned Event.

| Location: | E.T. Seton, Serena Gundy, Sunnybrook and Wilket Creek Parks
From highway 401 in Toronto, take exit 81 southbound.
Proceed south on Leslie Street about 5 km, crossing York Mills Road and Lawrence Avenue.
At approximately 200 m from the tee junction with Eglinton Avenue, turn northwest (right) into the entrance for the parks.
Proceed approximately 200 m to a tee junction and turn south (left). Proceed south and then east for a total of about 400 m and park in the large lot.
Disembark and walk back west and north beside the road for about 300 m in total. The start and finish areas are on the east side of the park
road between Eglinton Avenue and the park entrance road.
The washrooms are beside the park road 350 m further north of the start and finish areas. |
| Type: | Cross-country, point-to-point, school orienteering meet. |
| Time: | 10:00 a.m. to 2.15 p.m. First start at 11.00 a.m. Arrive no later than 10.30 a.m. in case you are scheduled for an 11.00 a.m. start.
Start times will be posted at the site. Awards ceremony from 2:00 to 2:15 pm. |
| Eligibility: | Open to students throughout the Province of Ontario. Your age class is your age as of Dec 31, 2010

| Map: | 1:7,500 (1 cm = 75 m), 5 m contours, 5 colours, new 2009, map case included.
Maps will be pre-marked with courses for those who register by the deadline.
Late registrants will have to copy courses from master maps in the start area. Any copying time beyond one minute will become part of
their running time. |

| Entry Fees: |
$6.50 for one individual (one map with control descriptions, one electronic control card rental).
$13.00 for one pair (two maps with control descriptions, one electronic control card rental).
Note that individuals and pairs compete in the same categories. Triples are possible but NOT encouraged.

| Cancellation due to weather: | Orienteering is an all weather sport. We never cancel a school meet because of the weather.
Dress appropriately and bring a change of clothes. |
| Total number of entries: | Total entries will be restricted to 250 team entries (singles, pairs or triples). |
| Out-of-bounds areas: | Coach-teachers are reminded that the meet area is out-of-bounds to all competitors for a period of 3 months preceding the meet
except for someone participating in the Wednesday Night Park Meet and/or the
Junior Boot Camp on April 7th. |
| Registration: | Schools can register online until Wednesday May 12th.
When registering online, enter the total number of participants from your school and enter the School contact information once.
Then use the team numbers to indicate the individual runners plus pairs and triples so that we will know who is running with whom.
For example, suppose you have 10 participants consisting of 3 Singles, 2 pairs, and a triple.
Their team numbers would be entered as S1, S2, S3, P1, P1, P2, P2, T1, T1, T1. Mixed pairs and triples will compete in the male category.
Enter the age that the student will have on December 31, 2010. Triples will be accepted but we do not encourage them.
Payment can be made using either a credit card or by cheque.
We will accept any necessary changes by e-mail to the registrar Heather Shepherd until 8.00 a.m., Saturday, May 15.

| Training Opportunities: | All competitors are invited to do some pre-meet training at one or more of the
Wednesday Evening Park Meets. These meets are held in Metro parks from early April to early September.
This year we have also introduced a new Junior Boot Camp to help teachers and coaches prepare their kids for the event. |
