TOC Summer Training Camp
|
|
The Summer Training Camp takes place on the weekend of June 4th - 6th, 2010. The camp will consist of 8 sessions from Friday to Sunday, each one
concentrating on a different training technique or practice. The camp will be held at various parks in the GTA as outlined in the timetable below and winds up with two Sprint
events on Toronto Islands.
Members of the Canadian National and Junior Orienteering Teams will be attending.
Emily Kemp (National Junior Team member) and Robbie Anderson (National Team member) are planning to participate.
This will give you an opportunity to compare your results with some of the best Canadian orienteers.
Please Note: Due to permit restrictions, each event will be limited to 25 athletes. Members of any club are welcome to participate.
This is a great opportunity to improve your skills for the Why Just Run? adventure running series and the
Canadian Orienteering Championships.
The training exercises are designed to improve the skills of participants that compete on the sport and adventure courses.
Beginners should only register for the sprint training sessions at Warden Woods Park and Toronto Islands.
