Mob Match 2011, L'Amoreaux Park, Scarbourgh

The Mob Match is the first event on the Spring TOC calendar and a favourite of TOC members. This year we have added an Easter twist! A mass start will have all participants join in an egg hunt with surprises at each control location for the first to arrive. Once the hunt is complete, participants will return to the start/finish area and exchange their map for the rabbit run course (a point to point classic course through the park). The first one back in each class will win the coveted Rabbit Award! We will have lots of treats and prizes for everyone else as well.
This is a great event for beginners, youth groups and families as courses will be available for all levels of experience. The mass start and finish makes this a great social event as well. Stick around after the event for a variety of goodies!
The event is also great for experienced racers as the park offers a great mix of open and forested areas. Raymond Chung is your course setter and will challenge even the bravest participants. This is also the first event on our newest urban park map!
The best part is TOC has included the Mob Match as a benefit with your 2011 Membership!! Existing members are asked to renew your membership online before registering for this event.

Please Note: SportIdent electronic timing will be used at this event. Your entry fee includes the use of a SportIdent electronic timing card (SI card).
If you have your own SI card, please provide the number when registering and you will save $5 per day on your entry fee!
SI cards are available for purchase for $40 incl tax, please indicate on the registration form if you are interested in purchasing one.

| Directions: | L'Amoreaux Park: The park is located on Birchmount Rd, just north of Finch. From the 401, take the Warden Ave exit and travel north on Warden Avenue to Sheppard Avenue. Turn right on Sheppard Avenue and travel east to Birchmount Road. Turn left on Birchmount Road and travel north to Silver Springs Blvd (one block north of Finch Ave). Turn right on Silver Springs Blvd and travel east to the L'Amoreaux Tennis Centre. The address of the tennis centre is 300 Silver Springs Blvd. The start/finish is located in the south west corner of the tennis centre parking lot.
