TOC THOMASS - Greenwood Conservation Area

Surely by January 15th you won't have forgotten your pledge to get more exercise this year. Boy, are you lucky we're here to help you out. TOC's Ralph and Raymond are creating - nay, crafting - the 4th event in the 2012 THOMASS series (half of which takes place in 2011, but we digress). Run your holiday buns off in the very not green woods of Greenwood Conservation Area. Register early and treat yourself to an extra dessert this holiday season. We won't tell.
Warm snacklings will be provided post-event. No sense being all Spartan about this.

| Format: | This race will feature one or more THOMASS boxes. The length of the run will depend on a participant's Thomass Handicap.
THOMASS BOX & HANDICAP: This race will feature the Thomass Box which consists of a set of 6 to 8 checkpoints which participants may visit in any order. Particpants may skip check points in the box equal to their handicap point total. Handicap points are awarded as follows:
Females = 2
12 or younger = 4
13 - 14 = 3
15 - 16 = 2
17 - 19 = 1
20 - 34 = 0
35 - 44 = 1
45 - 54 = 2
55 - 64 = 3
65 or older = 4

Please Note: SportIdent electronic timing will be used at this event. Your entry fee includes the use of a SportIdent electronic timing card (SI card).
If you have your own SI card, please provide the number when registering and you will save $5 per day on your entry fee!
SI cards are available for purchase for $40 incl tax, please indicate on the registration form if you are interested in purchasing one

| Directions: | Exit Highway 401 at exit 401 (Westney Rd.). Follow Westney Rd. north. Turn left at Greenwood Rd. (6.2K), which is the first road after Taunton Rd., following the sign for Greenwood Conservation Area. Continue following the Conservation Area signs to the entrance gate. Park at the gate.
