Schedule

Time:  10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (approx.)

Location: Walker Woods (north of Pickering/south of Uxbridge). Detailed directions will be provided upon registration. 

Prerequisite:  TOC Wednesday Evening Beginner's Clinic or instructor's approval.

Course will Cover:  
        1. Review of Map-Reading/Compass Use
        2. Compass-work and Declination
        3. Map-Reading (different scales and details)
        4. Distance Judgment/Pace Counting
        5. Line-Orienteering
        6. Contour-only Orienteering
        7. Route planning/Strategy

Cost:  $100.00 per person 
            Discount of $15 for TOC Full Members.

Registration: Pre-registration required with 50% fee deposit. No drop-in registration. Limited spots per session, so please register early to guarantee a spot.
