Beginner's Clinic
2008 Schedule
Interested in orienteering but don't know where/how to start? Come on out to our next Beginner's Clinic. We'll show you how to use a compass, how to read an orienteering map and walk with you through an orienteering course. You'll also get an Introduction to Orienteering book.
Cost: $30.00 person (includes map, instructions and Introduction to Orienteering book.) Discount of $10 for TOC Full Members.
Time: 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Note: Limited spots per session. Pre-registration by email is required
(deadline : day before clinic) to guarantee spot.
Drop-in registration accepted if spots available - no guarantee.
What to wear: Regular running or comfortable walking shoes.
Long pants recommended.
Compass: Bring your own if you have one or we'll loan you one for the session.
