2012 Wednesday Evening Recreational Orienteeering
|
|
The Toronto Orienteering Club invites you to
orienteer in Toronto city parks. These informal, recreational events are
for everyone - there will be courses for both beginners and experienced orienteers.
If you've never orienteered before, someone will
be on-hand to show you the basics. (Beginner
Clinics are also available at some Wednesday events). Come and see
how easy it is to start orienteering and enjoy the outdoors this
summer. You'll discover how interesting our many beautiful city
parks can be while getting some good exercise.
For more information, you can contact the meet
director of the event by e-mail (click on the name), or email to Malcolm Goddard
(Wednesday Park Series Coordinator).
Registration starts at 6:15 p.m. at the event
site (rain or shine.) We have never cancelled an event due to
inclement weather! You can start anytime, and go at your own pace, as long as you
return by 8:15. Click on each location for a map to the event site.
